Installations
At Cubensis we develop our own software tools, which gives us a greater level of control over our audiovisual installations. For example, our new multi-screen technology allows us to seamlessly blend between images originating from different projectors without any visible gaps in-between. This makes it possible to display images of any shape and size by using multiple projectors and feeding a different section of the final picture into each one. The end result is a single image of great size without any loss in detail.
By using this technique we can project onto the whole facade of a building, compositing a single image from multiple projections. In order to adjust the image to the shape of the building we build a three-dimensional model of the facade, and the software corrects all deformations accordingly. This technique can also be applied in indoor installations. For example, we can adjust the projection perfectly to walls in a room, so that a single image is formed along all its length surrounding all the audience.
We also build personalized screens (ring-shaped, hexagonal, circular, pyramidal structures, etc.), and are open to explore new concepts, media and techniques in audiovisual installations.
